It is almost a matter of preference, but I usually knit up a project or two while crocheting. I prefer to knit with the yarn that I have in stock, but I have a few yarns that are available that are a bit more affordable.
When you come back to the office, I always put a sock on the outside of my computer to get my work done, while I do crochet on the inside.
I like the idea of the sock because I can crochet the same thing over and over again. There’s an easy way for me to do that too, but I do have some yarn that just isn’t as easy to work with. If you have yarn with the same drape as the yarn I have, then it should be easy to make a sock.

The truth is that the harder you make something, the more time it takes to get it done. There’s just a special thing about making something fancy and time it all out. Because of this, you don’t need the skill to knit or crochet. I have found that I can use the same yarn that I’ve used for crochet to knit. You can either make a sweater, blanket, or scarves out of it.
