But before I get to the other points I want to point out that the most important thing about detoxification is that you don’t have to be in any type of detoxified state. If you’re a regular high-sodium person, you don’t have to be detoxified.
High-sodium diets, which most people are on, are actually pretty common. There is no scientific study that supports or denies that diets that are high in salt are healthier for you than the diet that is low in salt. So if youre a person who can handle high-sodium diets, go with the high-sodium diet. If youre a regular low-sodium person, go with the low-sodium diet.
Ive seen people die from high-sodium diets, but I have not seen anyone die from low-sodium diets. Most of my clients have been able to survive the low-sodium diet as well.
