I am an avid exerciser, but I do not have a diet. Many people have. I find the very act of eating is more effective than any other health tool and it helps me stay motivated. There’s no easy way to lose weight. You need to make the decision to diet for a while, so you can gain enough self-awareness to lose weight. Once you’ve been doing it for a while you are much more likely to make a conscious effort to start eating healthy.
I have a friend in fact who I consider the best dieting coach in the industry, and he has a pretty strict diet that he works with. He says that you need to make a conscious effort to go eat healthy, you need to make a conscious effort to do a few things, and you need to make a conscious effort to do something a little less difficult than that.
