I’ve always been curious about the way our brains process information. The idea that cleaning our minds can heal the body and transform our emotions seems like science fiction. But we have found that there is a lot of scientific evidence to back up the idea that cleaning up our minds can transform the way we live.
The science is really quite simple. We can cleanse our brains and bodies of the bad things that get stored there, which can help us heal and be more aware. Our brains are literally filled with memories of all the things we’ve done that have hurt us. To remove the bad memories, we can use cognitive therapy. If we were to stop doing the same things over and over, our brains would eventually become accustomed to the bad memories.
