This is because when your body is not burning fat, it doesn’t burn protein. And protein is the one macronutrient that the body needs to make the full amount of energy it needs.
As it becomes more and more difficult to burn your fat, you should be eating less of it. If you are eating too many carbs, you will eat more calories than you need to. If you are eating too many fats, you will eat too much. Both of these make you more fat than you need to be.
