A lot of people know me for my unhealthy food posts, but I’ve never really been an advocate for anyone to adopt a strict diet. I know I’m not one of them, and I never have been. The truth is, I’ve never had a major issue with a diet, but I’ve had some health issues that I’ve had to work through.
The fact is that the average American diet is very high in fat and sugars. Ive tried, and Ive failed, to keep my body fat low, and Ive tried to lose weight, and Ive failed. So now I need to deal with the fact that I just had to make a change. Ive decided not to eat any fat or carbohydrates for the next 17 days. Ive also decided to cut out all dairy products.
Not to make light of the fact that I may be using a 17-day diet to lose weight, but it’s also a good way to try to get a good overview of what some people think about food. A diet without any rules is a recipe for disaster.
